South Stack island, off Holy Island, North West coast of Anglesey. South Stack Lighthouse was completed in 1809. There are 400 stone steps down to the footbridge.

 Trwyn Du Lighthouse, Near Penmon, Anglesey.  The present lighthouse was built in 1835-1838.

  The Dovecot, Penmon, Anglesey, build around 1600 for housing pigeons for their eggs and meat.  Birds can fly in and out through a cupola at the top.

Newborough Warren Beach, Anglesey.

 Llanddwyn Island, located at the far end of a beach near Newborough Warren, Anglesey.

 Llanddwyn means 'The church of St Dwynwen'.  She is the Welsh patron saint of lovers.  Dwynwen lived during the 5th century and is said to have retreated to the Island to follow the life of a hermit after .  The island became the location of a pilgrimage, made to her holy well on the island.  It was said that the faithfullness of a lover could be divined though the movement of the ells in the well.  This was done by women first scattering breadcrumbs on the surface then laying her hankerchielf on the surface.  If the eels disturbed it, then her lover would be faithful.  This became extremely popular during Tudor times.

Copper mines, Parys mountains, Amlwch.  In it's full swing it employed 1500 people and became of of the leading copper mines in the world.
